The king room was well-appointed, included a shower and hair dryers. Comfy location for visiting restaurants and bars walk from the hotel. Set walk from a cove and the bay, it was a plus.

I stayed at Rodeway for 6 days during my recent trip to Northern California. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating and made me feel welcomed. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and had a table, chairs, and a desk. Plus, I appreciate having a coffee maker and coffee in the room. The location was ideal, with nearby eateries and coffee shops, and easy access to downtown Oakland. The hotel ensured that I had a ground floor smoking room with parking right outside, which was perfect for my needs as a disabled traveler. I'm extremely pleased with my stay and have already booked more days here.

It was a Good Price, for a 3 night stay, very comfortable, not fancy but it was ok for what we want :)

Where is located, but well for the price is worth it!!!

Management booked a bunch of drunken kids who were out of control for 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. They had booked 15 rooms for 45 days so management was much more concerned with their business than our comfort and safety.It was a very threatening and scary situation. We almost called the police each night. Management did nothing to control the fighting, drinking , arguing. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. We have filed a complaint with the motel, with their corporate office and will with American Express.

Comfy bed, just what I needed! It's so cool that I could walk to the Pacific Pinball Museum in just 10-15 minutes from here 😊 Plus, I felt safe in the area.

The breakfast was okay, it would have been better is yogurt and some fruit were included. The coffee was very weak, I mentioned it to the office, no attempt to adjust it was made. The bed was very uncomfortable. It worked for what we needed close to family and city on a budget.

We asked for a quiet room and were told there were none. Pretty noisy yelling and fighting around 1 A.M. Had hard time getting a clerk to answer at 7 A.M. to check out. Never could find the breakfast that was included.

Exceptionally comfortable bed. Excellent setting very close to Winchester/San Francisco, beach, and a nice area

The remodeled room was nicely done! I was comfortable and slept well. It was cleaned nicely everyday. Pool was sparkling.

No laundry facility although we found a nice laundromat at the end of Webster St. and it was quick! Didn't notice much offered at breakfast, but that was fine as we ate elsewhere most of the time.

The room was comfortable and had a dresser and A/C for convenience.

Location and cost

We had problems in the bathroom but they took care of it quickly.

Continental breakfast promised on website, not actually offered due to renovations. Towels were stained, sheets were too. Coffee maker did not work. Upon check in a woman was begging the check-in staff not to call the cops on her, among many other colorful clientele.
